Snowpeople.

Finally got down to some card
making,Have had a rough week
healthwise,eye giving me some
discomfort and have been unable
to bear a lot of light, blogging has
been in small spurts.The weather
has cooled down and life is a bit more
bearable. So I as glad to make a card
that had snow on it,loved these two
Daisy May characters,I coloured
them in with my Promarkers,
used one of my small punches
to punch the holly pattern,
background silver mirri card
plaid paper from Joanna Sheens
C.D. Enchanted Christmas,also the words
snowflakes and flowers from my
stash.Unfortunatley the glitter
I used to represent the snow
is not showing up quite as well
as I would have liked,I also
added glitter on her hat and cape trim,
I used some pearl strips to go round the sentiment and also on flowers
and snow flakes

Christmas carollers.

The thought of woolly hats
scarves and mittens at the
moment in this heat is impossible
to imagine,but I did enjoy
the colouring in with my promarkers
I can not help thinking what
a good buy they were, they are
giving me hours of pleasure.
So another Daisy May,a Christmas theme
this time,I used a very gay backing
paper some paper lace ribbon,a
couple of brads,and hey presto

Bookatrix birthday card

I have had this card made for
quite some time, and I forgot about it.
It is made useing silver card stock and
white and pearlised pink card some
peel offs and gems plus die cuts.
It says, Have a lovely day.
Have a sunny and happy,bright
and beautiful magical kind of day!
Happy Birthday
I hope now to get down to some
serious card making,I have just completed
twenty six Christmas cards for an
organisation on this coast called
Age Care, they have given me tremendous support in my journeys to and from Hospital
plus the help with translation, it is sometimes helpful to have a Spanish speaking person
to help with the difficult bits.

Pearls and Roses

I have managed to get down to
a bit of crafting.
Sorry I have been out of the
picture for a while.
My news at the hospital was not what
I had hoped for,I have had to
come to terms with never being
able to see out of my right eye
ever again.
It has not been an easy time
but I know every thing that could be done
has been tried.
So ,let me tell you about this card
The roses are from one of Joanna Sheens
stamps and where coloured in with
Sakura pens and pearls added to the
center,I raided my sewing box for the
rope of pearls and stuck them down
and the paper ribbon on a broad
piece of double sided tape ,the
mount was stamped with a background
stamp I have had for some time
and I used a Brilliance ink pad,Galaxy Gold. A butterfly and motif to
finish.A simple card but I hope you like it.

Friday 19 June 2009

This could be my last card for
a week or two,I have to go
into hospital for what hopefully will
be the last opperation on my right eye
with luck I should have partial
sight in that eye.As I have said before
any thing would be a bonus now.
This is my favourite rose stamp
I coloured it in with some pens
I bought from Q.V.C and then I embossed
with a clear powder I layered my
stardream card with a charcoal
glitter and a plaid,I added three gems
Although I may not be adding to
my blog for a while,I shall be
blog hopping and leaving my comments
so good luck in all of the competitions.
